hi
i am getting bored with Apple keyboards - i have now had two wireless keyboards fail on me in the past 6 months - issue both times being that keys when pressed actually transmit a completely random letter or digit and often they send two or three digits to the screen
i have changed batteries, tried to reconnect keyboard etc
any bright ideas or do i just have to keep buying new keyboards every 6 months

I understand that you are having issues with pressing a key on your keyboard, you are not seeing that represented on your Mac. Let's go over some troubleshooting to get to the bottom of it.
You will want to use the Keyboard Viewer on your Mac. This will give you a visual representation of what happens when you press a key on your keyboard. It may show that a key is pressed down or that you are using a different keyboard layout all together.
