This happens every few hours. Listening to music on iTunes suddenly playback stops and the whole PC freezes, mouse and keyboard don't work nor does ctr, alt + del. Have to power down the computer and restart.
Have latest versions of iTunes and Windows 10.
How can I find out why it is doing this and fix it... ?

Where is the library stored; internal or external drive?
Could the power saving options on the computer be sending the drive to sleep?

haha No it's definitely neither of those options. I've been working on iTunes with the same computer and iTunes for 5+ years and never had this issue before.
I actually turned Genius off and it's now not crashing, but wonder if there's anything I can do to keep Genius on and not crash the PC?
You could delete the existing iTunes Library Genius.itdb file and see what happens if you enable Genius again.

And where do I find that? I couldn't see it in: Program Files/iTunes or AppData/Roaming/Apple Computer

Actually that's not the issue. Genius is off (and those files deleted), I'm in Safe Mode and it's still crashing (or more accurately freezing) my whole PC... Any thoughts anyone?
