How to fix sms after updating iphone 5s

I have just updated my iphone 5s and I can not access my sms by my home screen and tell me

that I have a sms under my messages! Not happy cause I need to sms more than I do to call people

and when I do sms it comes up with subject and then underneath Text message with no ones

name at the top! Please Help... Thanks
