I have a i phone 6+, bought in November 2014.
Had a problem last week with this phone went into Apple where is was diagnosed as a faulty logic board that needed to be replaced.
They offered me a replacement phone for £240.
I might have been unlucky, but this phone has always had a case protecting it, its just seems a very poor product to fail after 29 months.
They are not built to last, very un happy Apple customer:(

So a component failed after 29 months and, despite the fact you were 17 months past the warranty, Apple offered you a completely refurbished phone at a reduced price and you're complaining? I think your expectations on the lifespan of a mobile phone may be unrealistic. While they might last for three, four or more years, they often don't.
Sorry, the phone was 6 months out of contract, so only 18 months old, which in anyone's book, is poor value and poor performance !!!!!!!

Components fail. It's too bad when it happens to you but, it happens.
Absolutely it happens, but poor quality product, a product that cost s £500, and last's just past its warranty.
I'm afraid to say, Apple have lost my custom.
