Every time I reopen my laptop, I have to reconnect to the internet.

The WiFi is still connected to the same thing as before, but it just work unless I turn off my WiFi and turn it back on again and wait a couple minutes. This is a huge hassle to do every time I shut my laptop. Is there anyway to fix this? I recently moved into a new house with new WiFi, this has never been a problem before.
