i bought a new multifunction Aficio SP C242SF but i have problem my macbook pro doesn't found the scanner after i downloaded the driver from there websites correctly for my same model
my macbook only found the printer without the scanner .
how i can fix this problem ???

Looking at the available drivers for the Ricoh Aficio SP C242SF, I can only see a PPD (for creating a printer) and ColorSync files (for colour management). No sign of a scanner driver. However, the specifications page shows the machine supports scanning to eMail or a shared folder using FTP. Neither of these methods require a scanning driver, as the machine can push a document to a destination in a particular image format, such as TIFF, JPG or PDF. You should contact Ricoh support for help in configuring the machine.
