Why do i get emails in another language?

1. Go to > https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage
2. Change the language for "Newsletters" > "Language" from the menu
   ("Newsletters" seems a little misleading for a place to globally change one's preferred language associated with one's Apple ID)

When the emails are written in another language and then sent to you. Your mac does not translate mails. sent in another language.

For example my mac is set to use English. But I receive a lot of mails from abroad in French, Dutch, English, Germain, Spanish. They are in the language that they were written.

Strange things happens sometimes... we used to attribute such to "Green Gremlins", but in reality, there is always a "cause and effect" - even though it may not be your action!

That is a legit email from Apple. Only link is valid

I'm still a little unclear as to what you are seeing. Are you receving emails from Apple in another language for purchases?
