Can't transfer downloaded book to iPhone

I got an audio book from the library. I ripped it to my Mac Mini. So far so good. Now, I can't transfer the book to my iPad or iPhone using iTunes. I drag the book tracks to my device and it won't let me put it on my phone.

I have an iPhone 6, big boy. and I am running 9.3.1.
