i I have downloaded an app. I can't find its icon. How can I locate it? Probably nested somewhere, but where?

Do an iPad search for the name of the App. The search screen can be found before the first App screen.

I Just checked I did have app downloaded By clicking on it in App Store. I did and opened it. I put in the name in search and it doesn't find it. I swipe right from home screen and it is there with 3 or four other icons. I open it. I still can't find it on any of my home screens. I want to move the icon to my initial home screen. Maybe I can do so from search.

DDidn't work. Can't move icon from search screen.
When you do an iPad search for an App the result shows what App folder the App is in at the right of the search result. Check in that folder to find the App and to move its icon out.
