Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My iPhoto shuts down immediately after launching . It appears as if I can still import photos but the app does not allow me to view or navigate through photo library as it shuts down and gives me an error message.
Please help

1. goto /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources
2. delete the files ' googlemap.html ' and googlesearch.html
Iphoto no longer crashes, places doesn't work but it doesn't bother me too much.

I can go to /Applications /iPhoto.app / … This may sound like a silly question…. but where do I find /Contents / Resources?
Make a backup copy of the iPhoto application.
Ctrl-click or right click the iPhoto application. You will see a contextual menu popping up. Select Show Package Content.
In the Finder window that opens, open the sub folder "Contents", then "Resources".
