Logic Remote not working correctly

The Logic remote app on my iPad Air 2 is working without any problems except of the volume meter. I can use the fader and adjust the volume but the volume meter (visual) stays black when I´m using it with my Mac mini. When I use it with my Macbook pro the volume meters are visible on the same iPad.

Any ideas?
