Q: more than one photo is added

iPhoto is either getting rid of my photos or turning one into ten, and I cannot empty trash, it now says I have over 10 000 documents when I don't have that many.

    Which iPhoto version do you have?

     

    The older iPhoto versions are having a problem with emptying the iPhoto trash, if the Trash is too full.

     

    Take the photos out of the Trash again, and then trash only a few hundred at a time and empty the trash immediately.

     

    But before you start trashing make a backup copy of your iPhoto Library.
