macbook pro mid 2012 doesn't pull in dvd's

A week ago, i tried to insert a dvd and when i put in the slot it didn't went in. I had to push it completely in for the laptop to read it. Once it took it in, it made like a rough sound trying to settle in its place. It never happened before. It reads the dvd's fine, what can-should i do? I live in Puerto Rico and i don't have applecare.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

See if you can eject the disc by dragging the disc icon to the Trash.

If it won't come out like it should, then you will have to find a reseller for repairs.

If you can't get to an Apple Store, look for an authorized service provider > Apple - Find Locations

You should never ever have to purposely push disc in the drive. That can cause even more damage.
