iPad Pro keyboard jumping after latest update 9.3.1

I Reluctantly updated all my devices to 9.3.1 and immediately have issues with the keyboard on my iPad Pro, it jumps all over the place and is inserting characters close to the ones I'm trying to type.

ive reset the settings but that hasnt made a difference

please help!
