Have 66apps and it says it is using 111.78 GB Why?

Question

Have 66apps and it says it is using 111.78 GB Why?

I have a MacBook Pro late 2013 and it says my 66 Apps is using 111.66GB why they are only there not being used.It shows the blue bar taking up a lot of space but it also says I have 194 GB free.

I see no"other" there there I have Apps, Audio, Photos, Backups, & Movies this is on my MacBook Pro. I'm new to Apple my first one but I've had it for about year.

If you suspect that the amount of storage being used for Apps (or for any other category) is incorrect, you may want to try reindexing as described in Rebuild the Spotlight index on your Mac - Apple Support

Hi and thank you but I went into Spotlight and when I opened it it has a lot of items in the Search Results then when I click on the Privacy tab there is nothing in there. We have a Apple Store in our area so I may take it in to them because my Mac works good but concerned about the amount it shows used.
