Comment I was writing disappeared

If it was not posted, then it disappeared when that page was closed or when what you were writing was lost. You cannot recover it.

Sorry, not understanding your question? Can you tell us specifically what it was you were attempting to do and what happened, and what device or computer you were using when you were you doing it?

Writing an effective Apple Support Communities question

Occasionally the forum software will fail during the act of writing a post. Sometimes if you click the new post or reply button wherever you were going to make that post there will be an opportunity to recover or delete the lost post. Of course the more effort you put in the less likely it is to have been stored for recovery. 😟

If you've something long and complicated to say, compose offline in a text editor and then copy and paste here when you're ready.

Try to go back to that exact thread, and click reply on the specific post you were replying to. If the system saved it, it will tell you that, and ask if you want to recover it. Good Luck!
