My free iCloud is full. Mostly with photos. I have an iMac and iPad. I do not wish to pay for extra storage!
How do I reduce the photos stored on my iCloud Account but still keep them on my computer?

I can't see how I keep some photos on iCloud and separate others just to keep on my computer. This is needed because my iCloud is full!
Are you using iCloud Photo Library or iCloud Photo Stream?

Adjust the size of your Photos library to work with iCloud Photo Library on your Mac - Apple Support
Download them, or move them, from your Photo Library to anywhere else on your Mac.
This will stop them from being synced between your Mac and iCloud. Now you can remove them from your Photo Library which removes them from your iCloud Library.
