I received the 500gb macbook pro from college and I have downloaded apps that are required for school. So when I go to "About this mac" and go to "storage" it shows that my apps are over 400gb but it says that I have over 300gb of free space. I downloaded Clean My Mac and got rid of some cache hoping that would fix it, i have uninstalled some apps but nothing has worked.
Uninstall CleanMyMac. It is doing you no good and may cause problems.
