I redeemed a apple gift card and was trying to make a purchase but then the asked me for 2 security questions which i had no idea what i wrote the answer as.
I tried to answer the questions multiple times and it temporarily locked my account for to many attempts. What do I have to do do make change my security questions and if I can't change them what can I do to otherwise?
iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.1, it is for a in app purchase
and also how long do I have to wait before my account is unlocked?
If you speak directly to Apple security they may be able to reset the questions and unlock the account.
You can set it up so that Apple calls you, either immediately or at a time convenient to you.
1. Go to http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/
2. Choose Contact Support and click Contact Support
3. Choose Other Apple ID Topics and choose the appropriate topic for your issue (Security questions or password)
4. Choose, No Thanks, Continue
5. Choose the best method for you for contacting Apple
I went on the link and i got to this page : If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions - Apple Support
and in the picture it shows a "Forgot your answers? Reset your security questions." But when I did the steps and got to what the picture was showing there was no reset your security question button.
Which isn't the solution that I gave you.
Follow the directions that I gave you and speak to Apple Support.
