Genius not available

I Know this is a recurring problem, from time to time that genius is not available. It happened to me again lately and asking Apple on line help did not solve anything. So I found out that if the song you want to use to create a genius playlist with and is not available you simply have to create a new AAC version of it, refresh genius and it is now miraculously available with the new AAC version. Strange but it works.
