Why will some music recorded from my CDs not play when using home sharing/Match?

I uploaded my music using Match to play it on my home sharing devices. Some of my music recorded from CDs and digitized LP albums will not play. Some songs appear on my music list but appear lighter/faded on the list and without the cloud symbol. One or more song on an album may not play while there is no problem with the other songs on the album. What happened and how can I assure that all missing songs from each album can be made available to play on all of my authorized devices?.
