Is there any way to get pictures from an iphone that was sold to a new iphone?

i recently got a new iphone and sold my last one before transfering any pictures and when i sign into my old apple id my pictures from that phone are not popping up. Is there any way to get those pictures from that phone even though i no longer have that phone?

Content from one Apple ID cannot be transferred to another Apple ID.

Perhaps the new owner of the old iPhone would send them to you via e-mail.
