I have a 6 yr old iMac that is getting rather slow. would a hard drive replacement help?And how much would it cost?

I have a 21.5in iMac purchased in late 2009. It is getting rather slow and I'm getting tired of watching the multicolored circle revolving. i've tried rebuilding the directory using DiskWarrior and cleaning the drive with Washing Machine, but this has not fixed the problem. i'm thinking of having the hard drive replaced with a solid state version. Would this help? And how much would it cost?

It's best not to use any kind of "cleaning" utility on a Mac; they sometimes do more harm than good. So, let's wait until we can take a look at the Etrecheck report to see if we can find anything in particular that could be causing the problem.
