My back up after restoring my new phone seems stuck.

It seem to be backing up in the Apple Store, it was giving me hours remains then minutes left. When I left the store it was at 45 minutes. When I connected to my Wi-Fi at home it isn't moving. It's going very slow it said It said two days remaining all night long.

Is the problem that I disconnected during the back up in the store? I had to get home. The technician in the Apple Store said just connect to Wi-Fi when I got home. But it did not resume where it left off it started over.
