Audio interface Logic, El capitan compatiblity

Hello everyone,

I have an Imac with El Capitan and Logic: would any one have any ideas regarding best audio interface, I had a Focusrite 2i4 which I sent back due to some noise present in recordings via the award winning mic pre amps also present I the headphone which I could n't get rid of, I would like an audio interface of similar spec; 1 or 2 mic pre amps of pristine quality, balanced ins and outs, minimal latency and MIdi. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi.

Check out RME.

All their gear is pro quality, drivers are rock solid.

I've had a Fireface 800 for about 8 years. Never missed a beat. Very quiet. Might be too expensive for you though, as I don't know your budget. Babyface is the smallest interface they make.

Any good name brand that's USB 3.0 should do you good. PreSonus, Focusright, etc.

Thank you Ben, very few current audio interfaces seem to be USB 3.0, However I am considering the Komplete 6, Presonus product of similar price but these are USB 2

Thank you Scorpii, yes a little to expensive for me, but definitely something would would consider future tense. I'm thinking £200 or less, Presonus, Komplete 6, M audio that type of price range.
