Apple WatchIf it were me, I'd never buy a cover for my new Mac without trying it in person at a retail store. You want to make sure the vents on the Mac won't be covered so it won't overheat.
If you can, go to an Apple Store and purchase one there.
Bargains for a new Mac? You're right to hesitate. Considering the cost of a new Mac, probably not a good idea.

May 6, 2016 12:54 AM in response to Jackkingappleby sberman,★HelpfulPersonally, if I were buying a sleeve, I would never consider buying an incorrectly-sized one for the machine it will protect.
Why would you even consider buying a 13" sleeve to protect a 12" machine? Sleeves fit snugly.
Here is an example of a MacBook sleeve for sale at the Apple Store. (I have no financial interest in anything shown here - this is only shown to illustrate the snug-fit point.)

Actually I decided to have a try though I am hesitated.
I gain much confidence in this product for its performance ratings.
After all, $3.99 is a price acceptable and stunning for me.

May 6, 2016 12:36 AM in response to sbermanby Jackkingapple,Just as I replied above.
I already have an old correct-size (12 inch ) one from Apple Store. This won't be the reason I turn down this offer.
I am considering larger size will leave enough room for my other stuff, particularly when I take with my professional book on the way.
Thanks for all your advice.

May 6, 2016 3:27 PM in response to Jackkingappleby Lanny,Then technically, you're not looking for a sleeve, you're looking for a bag. Sleeve's aren't designed to hold additional equipment. They are designed to be a snug fit. Any additional devices may scratch the MacBook, as they are designed to hold extra items.
You should be seaching for bags or cases.
Note: It's hard to imagine why people would want to use a mouse with a MacBook, especially given the capabilities of its trackpad.
