Whats up guys, I was just wondering if there's an effect or transition in FCPX that replicates the effect at around 0:37 seconds. At first it seems like just speeding up the clip, but I can never seem to get it just right. Thanks for any advice you might have!

It appears to me that this is simply a succession of cuts with a very short duration between them, nothing else.
Yep, just a bunch of quick cuts. Zoom into your Timeline enough to be accurate. Stack one clip on top of the other, and then blade out and delete the segments of the top clip you don't want. Use left and right arrow keys, count the number of frames, keep the gabs the same frame count for steady rhythm.
Okay thanks! Another example would be at around 1:10. Maybe I'm just not making the clips fast enough, but to me it doesn't seem like he has multiple clips, its just a fast kind of zoom effect?
I downloaded the clip you linked to and moved it frame by frame in Quicktime Player. What I see is just a straight cut, no zooms, no transitions. You can try it yourself.

Gabs? haha It seems like he was doing about 2 frames a cut? Is there anyway to figure out the amount he did? And by stacking the clips you mean like putting all the ones you want to use side by side? Thanks
The frame rate appears to be 29.97, and these quick cuts seem to be just 3 or 4 frames long, but don't feel like you have to do what this guy did. Experiment and see what you like.
Stacking meaning putting things on top of each other. You could end up with something like this:
then use the blade to cool to cut pieces of the top clip and reveal the bottom one:
