My Alexa app just showed a blank screen. I saw on this forum that deleting it and reinstalling it might fix it. I deleted the app and now I can't find it in the app store. What's going on?

There seems to be something going on with the App Store right now, at least in the northeastern U.S. I've seen a couple of posts about it. If I search for "amazon" on my phone, I get nothing from Amazon. "amazon prime video" gets me Netflix. Wait a little while.
Definitely something is going on with the App Store and it is getting worse!
As an interim solution, I googled something like "Flickr for iOS" and hit install which will take me to the app store let me install it via direct link to the app.
http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/shows that the iTunes store is not working for some users.
There's been similar posts on these forums today about apps missing from the store. Maybe it's a larger issue that Apple has to fix. You'll just have to wait.
They finally updated it! I checked around the time I replied to this thread and it was green across the board.
Why can't I find the Amazon Alexa app in the app store?
