Apple Pages and f.lux

Though there are other ways to change the color temperature of my two 27" cinema monitors, f.lux is the most convenient. However, f.lux does NOT work with Apple's Pages product.

I can be working in Numbers or Keynote, but as soon as I make a Pages document active, my nicely organge 2100K screen looms to 6500K, the normal daylight temperature.

Can anyone tell me what's going on here and an easy way around it?
