New Apple watch and ReSound hearing aids not pairing??

I have an iPhone 6s and ReSound LiNX hearing aids, which have been paired successfully for a long time. My 2014 Prius' screen allows me to make and receive phone calls via Bluetooth. I could make and receive calls using the touch screen but I can not receive calls since I bought an Apple Watch. What is happening??

I have now figures out, via a phone call to ReSound, that I can use the phone in my car by turning off the option of have the phone ring in the hearing aids. BUT now another question -- it seems that on the AppleWatch I always see the same settings for bass and treble, and they always come up as original settings on the iPhone. What????
