Ever since the last iOS update I have the issue of deleted emails returning once, twice even three times. I have deleted my email account and re-created it and the problem is still occurring. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Please make sure your email account is IMAP

Also if your email provider has a web portal eg for Yahoo! it would be mail.yahoo.com - log onto there and delete the unwanted emails from the server - that should hopefully fix your issue
Thank you very much for the response however I do not want IMAP. I prefer pop email. I've had pop all along and it never did this until the new iOS release.
Go to the web address for your specific account and delete the emails off the actual server. As long as they're on the actual internet email account, they will return.
Thank you but never happened until the latest iOS update so I don't think that's the issue. And that is not necessarily the case because it eventually deletes from the iPad without me deleting it on the server.
But have you gave it a try? Sometimes updates cause whacky things to happen. Had the same thing happen on my iMac last update. Well good luck.
