iPod

Q: What is error 1429 for my iPod shuffle. software ver. 1.0.2 iOS El Capitan ver. 10.11.4

I can not restore my iPod shuffle and error code 1429 comes up. iPod shuffle still plays but no songs can be removed or added. software ver. 1.0.2. My Mac mini software ver. is El Capitan 10.11.4

iPod shuffle (4th generation late 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Here's Apple's advice for that particular error

If you see error 1415, 1417, 1418, 1428, 1429, 1430, 1436, or 1439 when restoring or updating an iPod in iTunes - Apple …
