Music question on IPod touch from Previous to modern gen.

On the old Ipod touch there was an ability to listen to one song on repeat until you would double click the button on an earbud set, then it would change to the next song, however on my most recent Ipod that I bought that is now not the case. Is there a way to implement this feature into the new gen or am I just blind? Please help!
