Hi everyone. I would gladly appreciate it if someone can help me out.
I'm trying to upgrade from a 2010 MBP to a 2015 MBP but I am not sure if I should get a 2.2 or 2.5 GHz (both i7). I want to start creating videos and placing them Youtube. Each video shouldn't be longer than 30mins. I will be using the Final Cut Pro software. So my question is, will a 2.2 and 2.5 make any difference? Please help. Thank you.

My recommendations are as follows in order of priority: Storage first, RAM second and CPU last. In regards to CPU speed, 2.2 vs. 2.5, the differences will be minimal in real world situations. Only if you are in a vocational situation will CPU speed become important.

Put money first into RAM, then storage (SSD). Then put extra $$ you would put into backup devices such as an external enclosure. Then extra money into CPU.
Some may disagree with the order of the last 2, but I think few will change the order of the first 2.
By backup I mean TimeMachine or CarbonCopyClone ... full image of the internal drive for recovery reasons. Actually, I have 2 clones of my internal drive because one is never enough. I use this enclosure http://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/MSTG800U3K/ and swap in bare 2.5 in drives.
But, glad you have the money for both enough SSD and enough RAM.

It is a nominal difference. Don't forget it has both Turbo Boost which "automatically increases the speed of the 2,2 up to 3.4GHz-- and "Hyper Threading" -- which allows the system to recognize eight total "cores" or "threads" (four real and four virtual).
Unless you do processor intense professional daily work like video/movie editing you will not notice the slightest difference.
Hey, i got the same promblems of choosing between the i7 4770hq (2.2ghz) and the i7 4870hq (2.5ghz).
Would you say there is a noticeable difference concerning to gaming Performance? Of course i know that the graphicscard isn't made for those purposes , but just to illustrate...

2.2 GHz gets integrated Graphics (internal graphics) and the 2.5 GHz gets dedicated graphics (Graphics card which in this case is the AMD Radeon R9 M370X)
Thank you. If I purchase one, I would be getting the 16GB/256GB SSD because of my budget. And I already own an external hard drive I which I use to store all of my videos.
