has anyone had the white dot like a hole above the front camera near the black dot on your iPhone 6s? I'm new to iphone and so curious. Sorry

That might be the ambient light sensor. In any case, I don't think it's anything to worry about.
What model of the iPhone is this? As stevejobsfan0123 has said, it appears that could be the light sensor/proximity sensor. I agree it is not anything to worry about.

I have a gold 6s, and I don't see anything in that area on mine, but it could very well be the light and angle of the light that you are looking at the device with. If you are that concerned, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have the device examined. However, as I said earlier, I don't believe it is anything to concern yourself with.
