My iphone says I don't have enough memory space to access What'sApp yet when I try to delete messages, pictures and apps memory isn't showing as freeing up. Anyone else have this? How can I get the storage to update so I can access my What'sapp? Thanks!

Are you using the current version of iOS (9.3.1)? WhatsApp had issues with earlier versions of iOS 9.
If you are on 9.3.1 and have the latest version of WhatsApp, try deleting it and reinstalling it. However unless you have a backup from before the issue, doing so will delete your conversations.
