Export my videos from iCloud

I use iCloud Photo Library on my iPhone 6, with "Optimize iPhone Storage" activated. All my iPhone videos are automatically uploaded to iCloud, but I want to keep copies of the videos on my Mac. I used to use Image Capture to do this, but now the videos leave the phone and go to iCloud before I can capture them. They show up in Photos on my Mac, but I want the original .mov files in their own folder outside Photos also. How can I export them from iCloud to my Mac, without using Photos? (If I drag them out of Photos, they show up in the Finder as .m4v files that were created today, rather than .mov files with the original metadata.)
