my music sounds quieter through logic 10.2.2 than by playing it regularly in my finder or through iTunes..help?

When I work in logic 10.2.2 the playback is quieter than when I play the same file as an mp3 or what you have through iTunes or just by pressing spacebar in the finder...It seems quieter and less presence in logic 10.2.2...I just updated from the previous version of logic x a couple weeks ago and have been noticing some strange things...this volume issue being one of the major annoying ones. anyone have this issue and know how to solve it? It doesn't matter if I use built in output or my interface same things happens...

logic 10.2.2

Yosemite latest version

12gb ram

IMAC late 2009 2.8 ghz

Logic Pro X, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), IMAC late 2009 2.8 ghz core i7

Check your output channel strip volume setting AND check your Master output. Both should be at Unity Gain (0 dBFS).

Thanks for your idea Erik...Yes, I do have output and master at unity see my picture...still for some reason it sounds quieter when i play from the project than when i play the same bounced audio file from my finder. never had this issue until i updated. it's not a huge difference but probable 2 or 3 dbs difference.

Well, it seems almost too obvious, but... the difference then must be in those plugins (one of which is missing?)

Ah i have found the answer...When bouncing I had "normalize" turned on so it was making my track louder when bouncing...thanks for looking into this!
