I lost my search icon in mail on my ipad
Hi
When I receive mail I am not able to search. The little search icon (magnifier glass) is missing for example if I want to see if I got several email from John Doe and on what days... I can't

Is it possible that you have more than one email account and your viewing the list? If you select one of the accounts it should then show the search field at the top.
I Have several accounts and I edited the settings to show "All Inboxes" at the top so it was easier for me to see everything in one place and still have the search function.

If I understand what you are describing, "Search" is only available in the "Mailboxes" window, if you select a "Mailbox," and then if "Search" is not visible, drag the window down.
