Hi Linc Davis

thank you for your answer.

I uncheck the icloud account of contact, but not work

in internet accounts, I saw no other account but icloud.

I finally found a a way to solve this problem.

1. disable the mac protection in recovery mode using "csrutil disable"

2. rename AddressBookSourceSync using "

sudo mv AddressBookSourceSync.app AddressBookSourceSync.bak
"

thank you

Only solution that worked for me. Using El Capitan 10.11.6, this wakelock just would not go away.

Since I don't even use the Contacts/address book functionality at all, and therefore obviously have 0 contacts, it makes no sense at all for this utility to be running in the first place, let alone holding a wakelock. Completely UNACCEPTABLE.

Thanks for the solution, useless file has been renamed, and will be forgotten.
