Q: nickname taken error

How has there still been NO response to this issue? Great system, guys.

I could be wrong, but I think I just figured this out. You have to go into your Itunes on a computer, and under your profile, give yourself a nickname. Then, when writing a review, don't write anything in the nickname spot and submit it. I hope this works. Regardless, Apple needs to figure this out. It has been very annoying for me this week.

Yep, I have the same issue.  I've submitted and email to iTunes Support directly, hopefully they'll respond. If they do I'll post the solution on here.  Seems to be a problem thats been around for a while but Apple don't seem want to fix it.

I am having the same problem and tried many different Nicknames and still can't get anywhere. I will just not rate anything since I already wasted enough time on something that Apple clearly does not care about or want to fix

I think Andrew has it. Worked for me. Believe you need to put in this '@nickname' format in the nicmname box on the review.

How to fix this solution??
