NAC Unlock iphone 6 Plus through iCloud?

Hi

I have an iphone 6 plus and have been granted an NAC Unlock from my mobile provider. The instructions to unlock the phone is to connect iphone to itunes. Backup phone. Restore phone and then the phone is unlocked. Then I must "Sync" my phone to put all the media back on the phone.

My issue / question is that I use icloud for my backups, so can I use icloud for the unlocking of the phone, or can I after the first restore, select restore again but this time select icloud as my backup source?
