My iMac late 2013 has begun to be very slow in response to normal requests. I can't think of anything I did which might be causing this. How do I attempt tp repair my SSD....if necessary.

Have you run Disk Utility to verify the drive?

Hi there. Thank you for your recent answer regarding the slowness/beachball problem with my 27" IMac. I read up a lot about this problem in the Forum, and I found 2 or 3 folk had written in saying they had had trouble with Avira. I had Avira on my IMac, and I removed it. All my troubles seem to have disappeared! I now have a good clean EtreCheck report. Regards, theorganiste
