How to transfer music from iphone to surface 3?
Lots of Music on (10 yr. old) ipod and/or 3 yr. old iPhone 5 never transferred to Surface 3 bought in 2014. Can it be done?

Yes you need to Transfer it via PC by Connecting Apple Device !

Yep
Download iTunes on SP
Then use that to re download purchases
Download your past purchases - Apple Support
Or copy the current iTunes library from its current spot and import into SP
My 2005 machine is what apple calls, "Vintage." Or old like me. So, it is not worth saving. Now the center execute button on the face of the non-touch unit is working about 1/2 the time. I'm bidding now on a 6th gen. ipod 32 GB on ebay. Time to retire the vintage machine.
