Can't get iMessage to verify email

HHow do I get iMessage to work it keeps wanting to verify email.It is a correct email that I am using. But can't get it to verify

YOu might be able to find some help here.

If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


Ignore the section about turning iMessage off. If you can't activate iMessage then there is no way to turn it off, because it's not on in the first place. Never understood why that's included in the troubleshooting steps.


I have seen this step help others. Check this out in your settings.

Go to Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure that you've set up your time zone correctly.
