Face choice error - how to fix or undo

I am using Photos Version 1.5 (370.42.0) on Macbook Air. I was adding faces for photos of my wife and chose one photos by mistake in which the circle was around her hat. Now photos is including all photos with an object which has the color of her hat. Is there a way to undo this error?

Delete the name face on the Photo with the hat.

  • Go to the View menu and enable "Show Faces Names", if you have not done so.
  • Now open the facts album of your wife and click the photo to enlarge it.

Now click the "x" in the faces circle to remove the wrong face.

If you name faces in the enlarged view with the circles showing, it is easier to avoid wrong labels. Just type the correct name into the name field or click the x to dismiss wrong faces.
