Moving a project from one mac to another

Hi,

I have two questions

I need a bit of advise on moving a project file, i need to move a Logic project of a live recording from one mac book to another for editing and then to another for mastering but don't want to loose each step as i go, if i export it will it bring with it all my automation eq effects etc? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also importing the recorded files in to logic they are AIFF it seams to bring the quality down by about 10mb from say 40 to 30 mb and down to 32 bit upon import how can i stop this.

thanks for any help.
