Since Windows 10 upgrade iTunes is insisting I need to update
Ever since my upgrade to Windows 10, iTunes will every so often pop up and tell me there is an update, however I have already updated to the latest.

So what version of iTunes do you have? For Windows 7 and newer, the latest iTunes is version 12.3.3.17.
I have 12.3.3.17. The pop-up tells me there is a new update but lists it as 12.3.3.17. This only pops-up every once in a while, not every time. Maybe about once every couple of weeks or so. If I open iTunes and check for updates it says I already have the latest.
It happened again today. I have 12.3.3.17 installed. Pop up says new software available and indicates 12.3.3. I click to install. I get confirmation that download completed. I get confirmation that install completed. then it checks for updates and then AGAIN pops up with New software available and indicates 12.3.3 This goes on and on as long as I click install. If I click cancel it goes away for a while but will show up again in a week or so.
You could try repairing Apple Software Update from the programs and features control panel in the hope that it might fix the detection problem. Or change the update frequency and then visit http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ to check there really is a new version before letting it update again.

Attempted the REPAIR option. Seems to go OK. Will have to wait a while to see if this addressed it. Thanks. Will keep you posted.
