iPod Touch reset

I reset my iPod touch for my daughter. I took off my Internet, closed Face Time, Messages, and Find my phone is off.

I am going to get a new iPod Touch 6 and want to know when I set up as new on my computer, if I can get my photos back that I backed up on my old iPod? I already have 5 devices under my account as I haven't taken the old one off yet. If I take the old one off it won't show the back-up.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, if you restore from the backup when you get the new iPod, it will transfer your photos and all other data from the backup. It doesn't matter if you remove the old one from your account.

Thanks. The only thing I didn't do is sign out of iCloud. I don't back up to the iCloud so I hopefully will be fine. I can always set it back up in my name and turn it off if my daughter has a problem. I had everything thing done.

You were very helpful. I like the iPod Touch 5 better than 6 but if I am going to get one I better get the newer one. I will use mostly for the camera and music. I wish I could find a high resolution camera MP3 player instead of the Apple but still have the best products.
