Transferring Notes from iPod Touch w/iOS 6.1.6

With the latest El Capitan and iOS 9 releases, I can no longer synch my Notes notes from my iPod Touch with my other devices (3 Macs and an iPad). I believe I read somewhere that iOS 6 would not be compatible with Notes after the upgrades I mentioned.

In practice, I know that is true, but I can't upgrade my iPod Touch past iOS 6, and I refuse to buy a bigger klutsy iPod Touch, when the one I have is the perfect size.

So, if I can't synch anymore (without switching to another notes app like Evernote), is there a way of at least exporting my notes from my iPod from time to time and importing them into my other Notes on the other devices. I can only see a feature for exporting one note at a time... kind of useless; and I'm not sure how I'd import them to the new version even if I did.
